Alicia is passionate about civics and volunteerism, including CASA, Scouts BSA, local food banks and schools. In 2015, she began volunteering with Veteran’s groups due to her interest in helping Veteran’s and honoring her family’s long commitment to service in the US Military, going all the way back to the American Revolution. Her father, Tim Allman, is a U.S. Navy Veteran who served on the U.S.S America in Vietnam. Her grandfather, Leslie Pintler, was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran who served in the European Theater in the 99th Infantry Division and fought for the Rhineland and Ardennes in the Battle of the Bulge. Alicia has been involved as a volunteer with “Hats Off” since 2008.

She holds a Master of Social Work from Texas State University – San Marcos. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Texas Woman’s University – Go Pioneers! Alicia has been a licensed social worker since 2002 and has held a LBSW, LMSW and LCSW since that time.
