The Hats Off For Veterans *Professional Development Program is designed to help Texas veterans strengthen their skills, advance their careers, and expand their employment opportunities through professional development.
Qualified Texas veterans may receive up to $500 per application to help cover eligible professional development expenses. Funding may be used for certification and licensing exams, registration fees, and professional development courses in a variety of career fields, including healthcare, manufacturing, construction, real estate, technology and programming, music and the arts, culinary arts, skilled trades, and more.
Veterans may also use this program to attend eligible professional conferences, workshops, and training courses that support career advancement, professional growth, or employment opportunities.
Funding is limited to approved registration, course, certification, and licensing-related expenses.
