Jennifer felt the call to serve at a young age, inspired by the events of 9/11 and her deep appreciation for the sacrifices made in the name of freedom. As the daughter of immigrant parents, she understood that liberty comes at a cost, and in 2004, at just 18 years old, she answered that call by joining the United States Marine Corps.
During her service, Jennifer’s dedication and strong work ethic earned her a promotion to sergeant in just three years. She deployed to Ramadi, Iraq, as a radio operator, ensuring critical lines of communication remained operational to support mission success. Her time in the Marines allowed her to travel the world, build lifelong relationships with her fellow Marines, and develop the resilience and leadership skills that continue to guide her today.
Jennifer knows firsthand the sacrifices required to defend freedom. Though her journey in the military was challenging, she remains incredibly proud of her service and the opportunity she had to serve her country.
