Lisa Adams is a proud native Texan born in Fort Hood, TX. As an Army Brat, she lived for 18 years on military bases in Korea, Japan, and Germany where she graduated high school from the International School of Düsseldorf.
She's a forward-thinking executive with 25 years of experience in community outreach, professional development for staff and leadership training, event management, and high-level strategic planning. She uses her skills to achieve substantial and measurable results.
She has a B.A. in Mass Communication from Texas State University with an emphasis in public relations and writing. Her years of work experience have afforded her the opportunity to gain significant knowledge in her expertise. She enjoys facing new challenges and welcomes the opportunity to prove myself as a competent and reliable professional.
Coupled with her diverse background, knowledge, and experience, she hopes to grow Hats Off For Veterans so more Veterans can be awarded.
Lisa was recognized by Texas Governor Greg Abbott in June 2024 with the Yellow Rose of Texas Award, an honorary commission conferred by the Texas Governor to Texas women for exceptional community service.
"Our Veterans sacrifice so much for our country, so we want to be there for them when they need us. Thank you everyone for your continued support and love." - Lisa Adams
